The Bachelor Spoilers: Brad Womack Engaged to ...

This evening on The Bachelor, Brad Womack takes his final three potential wives - Ashley Hebert, Chantal O'Brien and Emily Maynard - to South Africa.

There can be only one Final Rose doled out March 14, though, which means two emotional decisions await Brad before then. Two beauties must be cut.

We now know for sure who wins that final rose - and if you've been reading The Bachelor spoilers up until now, it's actually NOT who you think.

Ashley Hebert PictureChantal O'Brien PhotoEmily Maynard Picture

Will Brad pick Ashley (left), Chantal (center) or Emily (right)?

Last week, we reported that one of the women above would be the next Bachelorette. This still appears to be the case. But the winner of this season?

Intelligence now suggests a different conclusion to the finale than we believed to be accurate as recently as this weekend. So who's it gonna be?

Follow the jump for all The Bachelor spoilers ...

Having led people to believe Brad was engaged to Chantal O'Brien for three months now, Reality Steve is now eating crow, and a hearty helping at that.

Brad has been engaged to Emily Maynard this whole time.

Whether sources were deliberately misled to keep this ending a secret until the end (or at least very close to the end), is unclear. But that's how it is.

The dominoes started to fall recently. Chantal was seen out on a date - potentially explaining why she would turn down the role as The Bachelorette.

When we assumed it was Emily who got rejected in the end, and then heard Ashley H. would be The Bachelorette, we assumed Emily didn't want it.

This made more sense, given her family situation. But why would Chantal turn it down? If rumors that she met a new guy are correct, this adds up.

Also, Emily's house is on the market in Charlotte, and Brad supposedly let it slip (in not as many words) on vacation in Cabo that Emily is the one.

Cue the deluge of emails from insiders saying with 100 percent certainty that it's Emily, not Chantal, and we're all up to date, having done a 180.

There you go. Sorry, fans of Chantal O'Brien, but as a leader in the field of celebrity gossip, sometimes we report on just that. Gossip and rumors.

We don't like to be wrong, but we're only as good as inside sources purportedly are. We've now given you the latest, most accurate scoop we've got.

No matter what, you can always count on us for that.

What do you think? Is Emily Maynard right for Brad? Would you have rather seen him with Chantal or Ashley - and are you convinced this is correct?

Charlie Sheen Says He'll Sue 'Two And A Half Men' Producers For $300 Million

'I am on a drug, it's called Charlie Sheen,' troubled actor says in bizarre interview.
By Gil Kaufman

The Charlie Sheen media blitz continues. On Monday (February 28) the troubled "Two and a Half Men" actor followed up his rabid radio interviews from last week with a pair of morning talk-show rants that pulled no punches when it came to his belief that Charlie knows what's best for Charlie. From his claims that he's cured himself of addiction to threats to sue his show's producers for hundreds of millions of dollars in lost wages, Sheen answered all questions in his signature raw, honest manner.

After criticizing his bosses at the top-rated sitcom — which shut down production for the season last week in retaliation for Sheen's tirades — and lashing out at show creator Chuck Lorre, Sheen told NBC's "Today" show that he'll gladly return whenever they want him: for a 50 percent raise.

Looking haggard, with his hair swept up in a pompadour on the top of his head and trimmed closely on the sides, Sheen demanded that his salary, already the highest on TV, be raised to $3 million per episode while telling network CBS that they owe him an apology. "A big one. While licking my feet," he said.

Production on the ninth season of the sitcom was halted last week, but Sheen denied that the action was a result of his comments. "I'm not angry, I'm passionate," he explained to reporter Jeff Rossen in an interview conducted at Sheen's Los Angeles home on Sunday, where the star was accompanied by a pair of friends he referred to as "the goddesses" as well as his twin sons. Sheen said he never showed up to the set drunk or stoned, perhaps a bit "sideways" at times after a hard night. He said that he may have missed some rehearsals, but "practice is for amateurs." He made it clear that his recent lashing out is not a result of his being upset by the network's actions.

"Everybody thinks I should be begging for my job back, and I'm just going to forewarn them that it's everybody else that's going to be begging me for their job back," he said. "I am a man of my word, so I will finish the TV show. I'll even do season 10, but at this point, [because of] psychological distress, oh my God, it's 3 mil an episode. ... Take it or leave it." Asked to confirm he was asking for a major raise, Sheen nodded, "Yeah, look what they put me through." Already reportedly the highest-paid actor in television at $2 million an episode, Sheen said he felt underpaid given what CBS is making on the program.

"I'm tired of pretending like I'm not special," Sheen said, shifting nervously in his chair, his eyes wide open and his legs moving restlessly. "I'm tired of pretending like I'm not bitching, a total fricking rock star from Mars, and people can't figure me out; they can't process me. I don't expect them to. You can't process me with a normal brain."

Sheen told Rossen that such friends as Colin Farrell, Mel Gibson and Sean Penn have offered their support, while accusing "Men" creator Chuck Lorre of "trying to destroy my family." He claimed to be clean and sober during the interview, saying "drug tests don't lie," but when asked about the last time he got high, he said hurriedly, "Don't remember, don't care." Sheen claimed to have cured himself of addiction by closing his eyes and "making it so" with the power of his mind, slamming the wisdom of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The actor said he turned to drugs and alcohol out of boredom and a desire to see things differently, explaining that he founded his own unlicensed in-home rehab dubbed "Sober Valley Lodge," where the principles of A.A. are not tolerated.

"I will not believe that if I do something then I have to follow a certain path because it was written nice," he said, claiming to have achieved "radical success" with his program. "[A.A.] was written for normal people, people that aren't special. People that don't have tiger blood, you know, Adonis DNA."

After widely reported incidents in which he allegedly held a knife to the throat of his ex-wife and trashed a New York hotel room, Sheen denied being a violent person and said those tales were told by people who don't know him or what really happened. "It's all just judgment and opinion and the gibberish of fools," he said.

He claimed he is now "at war" with CBS. "Defeat is not an option. They picked a fight with a warlock," he said, accusing them of trying to take money from his family by shutting down the show. His plan for winning that war? "With zeal and focus, violent hatred. ... You either love or you hate. You live in the middle, you get nothing."

Speaking directly to Lorre, Sheen read a group of questions to the show runner. "Why is it when I was ready to return to work you told me there are no scripts ready to shoot?" he read from an index card, following with a question about what would have been shot "had you not ordered the suits into my home to shut down my party?"

Sheen was equally unapologetic in an interview that aired on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Monday, a perceived coup that was trumped when NBC ran with its segment earlier in the morning. In that talk, Sheen, smoking a cigarette on camera, denied being bipolar or mentally disturbed. "Wow, and then what? What's the cure? Medicine. Make me like them, not gonna happen," he said dismissively. "I'm bi-winning. I win here and I win there; now what?"

Pressed to remember the last time he took drugs, Sheen again declined to give a specific date, but described the episode: "I probably took more than anybody could survive. ... I was bangin' seven-gram rocks and finishing them because that's how I roll, because I have one speed, one gear."

Asked how he survives such epic drug use, Sheen said assuredly, "Because I'm me. I'm different. I have a different constitution, I have a different brain, I have a different heart. I got tiger blood, man. Dying's for fools, dying's for amateurs."

Calling his life "perfect" at the moment, Sheen said he was focused and excited about life and answering to a "higher calling." Saying he blinked and cured his brain, Sheen said he had no worries about relapsing, but at the same time he admitted to loving to party. "What's not to love?" he said. "Especially when you see how I party. It was epic. The run I was on made Sinatra, Flynn, Jagger, Richards all of them look like droopy-eyed armless children. ... I am on a drug, it's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available because if you try it once you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body."

In another part of the interview, Sheen said he was tired of being kicked around for his lifestyle and that he planned to sue "Men" producers for $300 million. "They're in radical breach [of contract]. ... Sorry guys, you screwed up," he said, explaining that he would file a suit for "tons." "They will actually put it on a scale ... and they are gonna lose in a courtroom," he promised.

Oscars 2011 Superlatives Go To Kirk Douglas, Christian Bale, More

Really, how else could we honor 'He Doesn't Own a Shirt'?
By Eric Ditzian

The stage has gone quiet at the Kodak Theatre. The celebs have all gone home. Everyone is heavy-lidded and hazily recollecting the winners and losers at the 83rd Academy Awards on Sunday. Along those lines, it's time for MTV News to fight off the sleepiness, down some caffeine and dole out some Oscar superlatives.

Best Attempt to Make the Show Run Long
Kirk Douglas' assigned task was to hand out the Best Supporting Actress award, but when the 94-year-old actor finally reached the microphone, he was in no hurry to cede the spotlight. Douglas joked with James Franco, flirted with Anne Hathaway, and made random references to laughing Australians and austere Brits. It was touching and awkward and utterly memorable. And it felt like it lasted 15 minutes.

Most Surprisingly Great Speech
This one is a tie between Christian Bale (Supporting Actor) and "King's Speech" writer David Seidler (Original Screenplay). Bale surprised even himself when he fought off tears while thanking his wife and daughter. Seidler, meanwhile, happily acknowledged being the oldest person ever to win Original Screenplay; not only is he a proud late-bloomer, he's a shining and articulate example of the ways in which a person can overcome a stutter.

Strangest Standing Ovation
The audience stood and applauded for everyone from Douglas to Eli Wallach. Hollywood legends, all. But everyone in the Kodak also got to their feet for Billy Crystal. Sure, he's been a damn fine Oscar host in years past, and who doesn't love "When Harry Met Sally...," but a standing O for Crystal just seemed weird.

Most Welcome Wins
While Christopher Nolan got screwed out of a directing nomination, he had to be one of the happiest cats at the show: "Inception" tied "The King's Speech" for most wins with four, including Visual Effects and Cinematography.

Most Gratuitous Use of Taylor Lautner's Abs
Hey, if you can't get any of the "Twilight" cast to show up to the Oscars, why not whip up a viral-video-ready mash-up? The Auto-Tuned faux musical number, "He Doesn't Own a Shirt," was not only a chance to see Robert Pattinson "sing," but it gave the Academy's millions of viewers an opportunity to gawk at Lautner's midsection.

Most Shameless Use of Prepared Text
There's nothing wrong with pulling out a scrap of paper while up on stage, Oscar in hand. Imagine your nerves? Yet after winning Costume Design for her work on "Alice in Wonderland," Colleen Atwood — who'd won two previous Oscars — buried her head in a prepared speech and talked as if she were delivering an elementary school book report rather than a speech during Hollywood's most glamorous night.

Performance Most in Need of Auto-Tune
Gwyneth Paltrow has been wowing us on "Glee" and simply killed it alongside Cee Lo at the Grammys earlier this month, but we're not gonna lie: Paltrow's take on "Coming Home" on Sunday was not her finest live performance.

Saddest "In Memoriam" Snub
Corey Haim failed to get a posthumous mention at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, leading his buddy Corey Feldman to lament, "We have become used to not being honored by our peers in the industry." Alas, Haim was once again snubbed, failing to make it into a video package honoring the likes of Lena Horne and Leslie Nielsen.

Anne Hathaway and James Franco: Funny or A Failure?

About an hour into the 2011 Academy Awards telecast, co-host James Franco walked on to the stage in a dress.

To viewers, this was likely seen as either an act of desperation or hilarity, as he also tossed in a joke about Charlie Sheen, turning to Anne Hathaway and quipping: ”You got to wear a tuxedo so I wore this. The weird thing is I just got a text message from Charlie Sheen.”

Cue... laughter? Or eye rolling?

James Franco in a Dress

You tell us. Did the use of actors over comedians work for the ceremony? Or were you more entertained by Tweeting during the event than by what Hathaway and Franco were actually saying/doing?

Anne Hathaway Sings, James Franco Makes Charlie Sheen Joke During Oscars

Hathaway belts out comical tune ribbing Hugh Jackman before Franco takes jab at Sheen.

The Oscars broadcast went nearly one hour before anyone cracked a Charlie Sheen joke. It was James Franco who did the honors, but not before his fellow co-host, Anne Hathaway got the chance to poke fun at another well-known actor. Hathaway took to the stage solo clad in a tuxedo and belted out a tune to the melody of "On My Own" from "Les Miserables," a little jab at Hugh Jackman who she apparently wanted to do a duet with during the broadcast.

"There's a tradition of singing at the Oscars," she mused to the crowd. "One that I was lucky enough to take part in two years ago. And this year I wanted to do a duet again with a special guest, but he bailed on me at the last minute and I couldn't do it. But I'm not a quitter, so this is the best I could do under the circumstances."

She then got up and dazzled the crowd with her killer vocal abilities, singing these biting lines to one particular former Oscars host: "On my own/ 'Cause someone's a huge jackass/ I won't say who/ Thought Australians were our allies/ It turns out Down Under's kinda shady/ Not you, Nicole, or not any other Aussie but just one/ Who shall not be named," as the cameras panned to Hugh Jackman, who had performed with Hathaway at the 2009 Academy Awards during a celeb-filled musical number.

"He stuck his fake retractable claws/ Into my heart," she continued. "When he left me on my own."

But the bit didn't end there, as Franco walked onstage dressed in drag as Marilyn Monroe. "You got to wear a tuxedo," he joked to Hathaway. "So I wore this. Weird part is I just got a text message from Charlie Sheen." The two then played the joke off, welcoming to the stage Russell Brand and Helen Mirren, who presented the Best Foreign Language Film prize to "In a Better World" (Denmark).

Kirk Douglas Steals The Show Presenting Best Supporting Actress Oscar

'She's gorgeous! Wow! Where were you when I was making pictures?' movie icon says to Oscars host Anne Hathaway.

Hollywood veteran and icon Kirk Douglas stole the show early on in the 2011 Academy Awards broadcast. Aided by a walking cane, Douglas took the stage at the Kodak Theatre to present the award for Best Supporting Actress.

By the time he handed the Oscar to Melissa Leo, Douglas had flirted with Oscars host Anne Hathaway and managed to have the room in stitches by poking fun at Hugh Jackman and Colin Firth.

"Thank you very much," he told the applauding audience. "And I want to thank James [Franco]. Thank you. You look much better out of the cave. And I want to thank Miss Hathaway. I thank you. She's gorgeous! Wow! Where were you when I was making pictures? Jeez!"

His comments about the Hollywood star caused the audience to break out into laughter and Hathaway to send air kisses to Douglas in gratitude. He continued, " I have something to confess. I love women and I really love beautiful women, and now I'm gonna give you five of them — the nominees for Best Supporting Actress."

After the names of the nominees were announced — Leo for "The Fighter," her co-star Amy Adams, Helena Bonham Carter for "The Kings' Speech," "True Grit" star Hailee Steinfeld and "Animal Kingdom" actress Jacki Weaver — the camera cut back to Douglas onstage, ready to announce the winner, or so the audience thought.

"Hello ... now is the moment, the moment that we are all waiting for," he teased. "Hugh Jackman is laughing. I don't know why everybody in Australia thinks I'm funny. Colin Firth is not laughing. He's British. Now we come to the most important part. This is the moment, if I can get it. You know you're still laughing. Colin Firth is laughing. You know I will never forget this moment ... now we have a winner."

Douglas finally got around to announcing the winner. When Leo arrived onstage to collect her award, she bowed down on one knee before the movie icon.

James Franco And Anne Hathaway Dive Into 'Inception' For Oscar Hosting Tips

Academy Awards opener features Leonardo DiCaprio, Alec Baldwin in 'Inception'-themed tribute to year's best.
By Gil Kaufman

It's become a time-honored Oscar opening bit: inserting the show's host into the year's Best Picture nominees. Only this time, it was hosts, plural, and for only the second time since 1986, they were not stand-up comedians whose forte is getting easy laughs.

After more than a month of speculation about how James Franco and Anne Hathaway would open Sunday night's 83rd annual Academy Awards ceremony, the tension was broken with a quick-cut montage of iconic images from this year's 10 Best Picture nominees, followed by Franco, 32, and Hathaway, 28, being digitally inserted into one of the year's most mind-twisting nominees, "Inception."

Check out photos of the 2011 Academy Awards show.

Star Leonardo DiCaprio attempted to explain how the whole dream-hopping worked to the couple, with Hathaway saying, "So, we're going to go into Alec Baldwin's dreams and get some hosting tips," as an incredulous Franco huffed, "You're buying this. ... I'm not going anywhere until you can prove you can take us into people's dreams."

As the streets of Paris exploded around them, Franco still wouldn't buy in, using his best tough-guy stance and pressing DiCaprio, "Gimme some proof ... one shred of proof, Leo ... we're waitin'." The pair then ended up on a plane with DiCaprio and Baldwin, with the "30 Rock" star and 2010 Oscar co-host slugging down a juice box of Ambien to calm his nerves, but passing out before giving Hathaway the secret to hosting the show.

They were next transported to a courtroom, where Hathaway took issue with Franco's use of a driedel as his talisman to check whether he was in a dream (if you haven't seen "Inception," then you were just slightly more confused than those of us who had). They ended up in a yelling match with "The Social Network" star Jesse Eisenberg as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, telling the socially awkward billionaire that his brusque dismissal of their request for help had just cost him a few Facebook friends. "And tell the Winklevosses to stop giving me the stink eye," Franco added.

The "Inception" elevator took them to the sweaty gym in "The Fighter," where Hathaway donned her best round the way Boston girl accent to chat up Mark Wahlberg's Micky Ward about who is a bigger junkbag. After knocking Franco out, she hopped on a horse to face off against "True Grit" star Jeff Bridges, with Franco snuggling up behind her in a bearskin coat and Hathaway sporting not one but two eye patches.

The search continued in "The King's Speech," where they worked period costumes. But those were nothing compared to the ones they squeezed into for the "Black Swan" bit, where Franco was shoehorned into a skintight white leotard and his co-host a Thanksgiving turkey-inspired getup. "The dance of the brown duck," Hathaway intoned as she spun wildly, shedding feathers and quacking her way through a routine that horrified star Natalie Portman.

They finally found Baldwin again, who played some mind games with them before they jumped into the DeLorean time machine from "Back to the Future" and jetted into the present, winding up on the stage in their awards-show finest. Franco, holding a cell phone to record his moment in the sun, wore a classic tuxedo, while Hathaway emerged in an elegant white floor-length gown with beaded accents.

"Oh my gosh, you're all real," she marveled. "This is actually happening!" Lowering the collective age of presenters by 55 years from last year, first-time hosts Franco and Hathaway — the latter the youngest host in history and one of the only women to ever have the honor — quickly dispensed with any questions about why they were tapped for the gig. "Anne, I must say you look so beautiful and so hip," said Franco in his signature smiling deadpan manner. "Thank you, James," she replied. "You look very appealing to a younger demographic as well."

Both had promised they would not follow in the footsteps of comedian Ricky Gervais, who did a bombing run at the Golden Globes, strafing most of Hollywood with his acerbic wit. Instead they ended up making fun of themselves. Franco said it was an exciting night for both hosts since they were both nominated, but Hathaway quickly reminded him that unlike his Best Actor nod for "127 Hours," she was not noticed for her work in the romantic dramedy "Love and Other Drugs."

"You know, it used to be you get naked, you get nominated," she complained. "Not anymore, not anymore." She then explained to Franco what an honor it is to be nominated and how if he won, everyone would refer to him as "Academy Award winner James Franco." He had to think about that. "What do you mean everyone?" he said, confused after asking if the little golden man came with a cash prize as well. "Like even my mom? That would be weird if my mom called me 'Academy Award winner James Franco.' I've known her a long time."

Hathaway's mom reminded her from the audience to stand up straight because, you know, three-time Oscar winner Steven Spielberg is in the house, while Franco's grandma was jacked to see "Marky Mark" Wahlberg in the crowd.

Both came off as relaxed and natural as they joked about the profusion of lesbians in this year's nominated films and quickly segued into the night's first award presentation by Tom Hanks for Best Art Direction.

Anne Hathaway Will Be 'Wonderful' In 'Dark Knight Rises,' Says Aaron Eckhart

At the Independent Spirit Awards, the 'Dark Knight' villain is gracious about being left out of third film.
By Brian Warmoth, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

Aaron Eckhart
Photo: Jeff Vespa/ WireImage

Director Christopher Nolan told Aaron Eckhart personally that "Dark Knight Rises" script wouldn't have a part for him. Eckhart took the news in stride, though, and the nominee for Best Male Lead at Saturday night's (February 26) Independent Spirit Awards said he expects the movie will do just fine without him — even if Nolan won't tell him what will be going down onscreen.

"I was just with Chris, and he's pretty tight-lipped about things," Eckhart told MTV News on the red carpet outside the Spirit Awards.

The man who played Harvey Dent and ushered the character into madness as Two-Face in "The Dark Knight" wouldn't admit to disappointment over not returning for the new Batman sequel. In fact, he claimed to have seen Two-Face's omission coming.

"I never intended to come back," Eckhart said. "That's Heath [Ledger]'s movie. It should live solo, and Chris is gonna go on."

Nolan's third Batman movie will include , best known in the Batman universe for her villainess alter ego Catwoman. Eckhart expressed high hopes for her.

"I think Anne Hathaway is going to be wonderful," Eckhart stated. The closest he would come to complaining about his absence from "The Dark Knight Rises" was to joke about sucker-punching Nolan after hearing that Harvey Dent wouldn't appear.

Eckhart lost in the Male Lead category to "127 Hours" star James Franco at the Spirit Awards, though judging by the gracious response he gave about the Bat-films going on without him, he seemed like he must be at ease with passing the spotlight around.

Eckhart made himself available last year, just in case Nolan had a change of heart, but now that the script is getting finished, and the big remaining casting searches seem to be limited to females, it's probably safe to consider Eckhart politely and amicably finished as a Bat-villain.

Viggo Mortensen Pegged As Possible Zod For 'Superman'

Actor named 'person of interest' to play villain in Zack Snyder's reboot.
By Shawn Adler

He once demanded that any and all enemies of Gondor stand before him on the field of battle, but the once and possibly future Aragorn might be asking his next adversary to "Kneel!" as news comes that Viggo Mortensen has been singled out as a "person of interest" to play General Zod in Zack Snyder's "Superman" reboot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Despite Snyder's previous statements to the contrary, the announcement of interest amounts to the first public confirmation that Zod, the megalomaniacal Kryptonian scientist portrayed by Terence Stamp in Richard Donner's "Superman II," will appear alongside Henry Cavill in the Christopher Nolan-produced reboot.

Zod's female co-conspirator, Ursa, was previously rumored to be in the film as well, with actresses Diane Kruger, Rosamund Pike and Alice Eve all reportedly up for the part.

Such as with Kevin Costner for the role of the Man of Steel's adoptive father, Jonathan "Pa" Kent, Mortensen remains simply a "person of interest," and no official talks have begun. But for Nolan and Snyder to get their man, they might have to move fast, as Mortensen is in negotiations for "Snow White and the Huntsman."

Mortensen most recently filmed the literary adaptation "On the Road" and "A Dangerous Method," where he played Sigmund Freud for director David Cronenberg. Aside from possible appearances in "Superman" and "Snow White," the Oscar-nominated actor has also repeatedly left the door open for a return appearance as Aragorn in "The Hobbit."

Is Zod the right choice of villain for the "Superman" reboot? Is Mortensen the right man to play him? Sound off below!

Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh: Married!

Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh are now husband and wife, just two weeks after his divorce from Camille Grammer was finalized. Congratulations, we think!

The pair exchanged vows during an afternoon ceremony at the Longacre Theater in Manhattan, where he starred in the Tony-winning La Cage aux Folles.

This is the first marriage for Kayte, 29, and the fourth for Kelsey, 55.

Kayte & Kelsey

After 15 days of legal freedom, Kelsey Grammer is spoken for again!

"Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh were married today at a private ceremony for family and friends," the actor's rep said in a statement.

Kelsey, whose split from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer was chronicled all season on that program, is not looking back.

"I've never been happier in my life," Grammer said of his new life with Kayte Walsh, a British flight attendant. "I'm extremely happy."

Following today's ceremony, the newlyweds and guests headed to the reception at the Plaza Hotel, where the festivities will go until 2 a.m.

Somehow we doubt Camille will be in attendance, but that shouldn't stop her from commenting on the event ad nauseam to gain sympathy/publicity.

Miley Cyrus: Helping in Haiti

Engaged in a feud at home with her father, Miley Cyrus has reportedly jetted down to Haiti.

Sources close to the star say she is spending time in the ravaged nation, helping citizens recover from last year's earthquake. She is involved with Sean Penn's The J/P Haitian Relief Organization and posed for the following photo outside her hotel in the country:

There's not much else to report on the topic, but it's worth nothing. This is a legitimately admirable cause and applaud Miley for taking such initiative.

Rihanna-Ciara Beef Begins With Fashion Police Crack, Escalates on Twitter

You really gotta love Twitter. Celebrity feuds begin suddenly over nothing and spiral out of control for all to enjoy so efficiently in this high-tech day and age.

Today's star-studded social media beef: Ciara and Rihanna!

On Joan Rivers’ Fashion Police last night, the host was discussing with Ciara some absurd outfit Rihanna had worn (take your pick). That's when Ciara said:

Sexy CiaraBeautiful Ri

IT'S SO ON: When diva singers attack with Blackberrys!

"I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn’t the nicest, and it’s crazy because I’ve always respected what she’s done with fashion and I’ve ran into her before, but this time it just wasn’t the most pleasant run-in, so ..."

That thought was completed by Rivers: "…a bitch. Next!"

No sooner had the show aired, Rihanna took to her Twitter page, fuming about the remarks, writing: "My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme."

It only got better from there ...

Not even an hour later, Ciara hit right back: “Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage“ (notice the misspelt name….ouch).

Rihanna: “U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.“

Maybe because C didn't write back, Ri felt bad, offering the following olive branch Tweet a bit later: "Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup."

Ah, Twitter feuds. They start fast, but they also conclude promptly.

As the saying goes, sticks, stones and Chris Brown can break your bones and maybe even knock you unconscious, but Twitter trash talk is fleeting.

Ne-Yo And Fabolous Working On Best Of Both Worlds LP

'[There's] something about his voice and my voice that makes sense together,' Libra Scale crooner tells MTV News of a Jay-Z/R. Kelly-style album.

Grammy-winning R&B crooner Ne-Yo is working on a couple of projects, including a new solo album and a collaborative LP with rapper Fabolous.

The singer/songwriter's fourth album, Libra Scale, was only released last November, but during NBA All-Star Weekend he told MTV News that since some fans may not have gravitated to the project like his past work, he's already back on the grind.

"I'm actually working on a new album as we speak," Ne-Yo revealed. "Libra Scale was a project, it was an experiment. The people that got it, got it. The people that didn't, it's all good. I got a little cool for the room, I understand that. But this next album is more about just listening to the music, vibing out, determine your own adventure, back to what it is I normally do. Be looking for that around September."

Ne-Yo's standards are high, considering Libra Scale debuted at #9 on the Billboard albums chart and got favorable reviews in the press. The singer performed a medley of songs from the LP at the 2010 American Music Awards. But the album didn't match the commercial success of its predecessor, Year of the Gentleman, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 when it was released in 2008, selling about 250,000 copies its first week in stores.

Ne-Yo's upcoming project is still untitled, as is a planned joint project with Brooklyn rapper Fabolous. The Def Jam labelmates have worked together before, with Ne-Yo lending his vocals to Fabolous' 2007 hit single "Make Me Better," both artists appearing on Jamie Foxx's "She Got Her Own" the following year and Fab giving a verse to Ne-Yo's "Crazy Love," from Libra.

"We have been talking about getting in, trying to do kind of a Best of Both Worlds-type vibe situation," Ne-Yo said, referring to 2002's joint album from Jay-Z and R. Kelly. "It's just something about his voice and my voice that makes sense together. We been kicking ideas around and I can't say exactly when to look for it, but definitely look for it. Keep your eyes peeled, we'll be out there."

Chris Medina Music Video: "What Are Words"

Amidst a sea of J. Lo's tears, Chris Medina was eliminated from American Idol this week.

But that isn't stopping the aspiring singer from pursuing his dreams. The former contestant, whose fiancee suffered a brain injury in a 2009 car accident, will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this evening and perform the single "What Are Words."

“It’s a song about making promises and fulfilling them, about telling someone you love that you’ll be there and having them be able to count on you because you said it," Chris says. "Because the words that you say really mean something. It’s a powerful song.”

Medina has already released a video for it. Watch and react to it now:

Jennifer Lopez Latest Celeb To Enlist Fan Feedback On The Net

J. Lo is letting you choose ending of her 'On the Floor' video, joining growing list of stars who have also left decisions to fans.

Jennifer Lopez is set to drop her dance-tastic video for "On the Floor" in less than a week, and she's letting her fans choose how the Taj Stansberry-directed clip ends. On Thursday, Lopez visited Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show to announce that she'd be giving her fans the option to pick between two 15-to-20-second alternate endings, with the final cut airing during the March 3 "American Idol" broadcast at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

"You get to do what I do," J. Lo said during "On-Air With Ryan Seacrest." "Like, I go in there with my videos and I start editing and picking all the shots I like and the things that I like and what I feel the best kind of feeling for the record is. You guys get to do that. We picked two different ones and we weren't sure."

Lopez joins a list of stars, who have also maintained an interactive relationship with fans in order to get feedback on everything from song selection to tour set lists and promotional appearances.

Katy Perry's "E.T." Single
Back in December, Katy took to Twitter to ask fans what they thought should be the next single off her smash Teenage Dream. Shortly after, the pop star thanked fans for their suggestions, admitting that she agreed with the majority of them. Fast-forward two months as Katy selected the futuristic tune "E.T." as to be the fourth release off her sophomore effort, and adding Kanye West into the mix.

Bon Jovi's Concert Set List
When Bon Jovi teamed up with YouTube for a special concert show last year, the rockers were set on giving fans complete control. Lead singer Jon Bon Jovi recorded a video message, which was appropriately uploaded onto the site, asking fans to send in their song suggestions via text or video entry. And as expected, the group performed signature hits, including "Livin' on a Prayer" and "It's My Life" during the concert event.

Janet Jackson's Tour Dates
Scheduling a tour can be difficult for busy artists, especially when there are so many cities to cover. However, that's not the case with Janet Jackson's upcoming world tour, for which she allowed fans vote on the cities where they'd most like to see her perform. The pop icon eventually selected a slew of dates based on fan submissions and they'll get to hear her perform songs from her greatest-hits album, Number Ones.

Rolling Stone Cover
It's not only stars who request fan feedback: Rolling Stone magazine is letting fans choose 1 of 16 unsigned bands to grace their coveted front cover, they announced last week. Through a tournament-style competition, fans will submit votes until the last two bands are standing. From there, the finalists will compete in an onstage battle of the bands that will determine who gets the cover and a recording contract from Atlantic Records.

Betty White's 'SNL' Facebook Campaign
As Betty White's popularity skyrocketed in recent years, so did the demand for her onscreen appearances, including admirers who wanted her to score a gig on "Saturday Night Live." After an overwhelming Facebook campaign to have the then-88-year-old actress host the late-night sketch comedy show, White finally took the "SNL" stage and gave viewers what they wanted. With the help of White, "SNL" alums like Tina Fey and Maya Rudolph, and musical guest Jay-Z, the show earned its best numbers in more than 18 months.

New 'Never Say Never' Clip Shows Justin Bieber Singing With Fan

The 'Director's Fan Cut' teaser captures the teen sensation performing an acoustic version of 'Baby' with a young girl.
By Eric Ditzian

Earlier this week, "Never Say Never" director Jon Chu promised MTV News that his new "Director's Fan Cut" of Justin Bieber's 3-D flick would deliver 40 minutes of fresh footage, including different songs (such as "Favorite Girl"), some more shirtless shots of the teen singer ("Maybe some abs!") and extra scenes of him interacting with fans.

With the recut movie hitting theaters on Friday (February 25), Paramount Pictures has released a clip showing just that: the Biebs hanging out with some of his young fanatical followers. The 71-second promo shows Bieber — pre-haircut, of course — at an intimate gathering in Phoenix. While the pop star gives an acoustic performance on a small stage, his fans beg him to play "Baby," but he jokes, "I don't know that song."

He then declares to a very young fan, "I'll only sing 'Baby' if you come up here and sing it with me." Cue the cuteness. The girl sits on his lap and together they belt out the hit single.

This isn't the first time we've seen Bieber show off an easy, breezy way with his youngest fans. Last year, he popped up on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to surprise a 3-year-old Belieber named Cody who'd become an Internet sensation after her sister posted a video of her crying over the teen heartthrob on YouTube. As he tweeted later, "Makin faces with Cody!"

The re-released "Never Say Never" represents an effort both to goose box-office receipts three weeks after the film's initial opening and to feed the Beliebers' seemingly insatiable appetite for anything and everything connected to the star.

"We originally had a two-and-a-half-hour version of the movie, which we obviously couldn't release," Chu explained to us. "So we started to think about putting stuff back in that didn't have to do with our story but that we knew people would love."

Are you planning to go see the "Director's Fan Cut" of "Never Say Never"? Let us know in the comments.

'Drive Angry' Cheat Sheet: Everything You Need To Know!

MTV News has been on the road with the Nicolas Cage flick since the start.
By Eric Ditzian

David Morse and Nicolas Cage in "Drive Angry"

"Drive Angry" is perhaps the Nicolas Cage-iest Nicolas Cage movie ever. The ever-unpredictable, often wacky, potentially out-of-his-gourd actor stars as a man who literally breaks out of hell to exact a bloody, muscle-car-assisted revenge plot ... in 3-D. It's deeply weird stuff, and yet, with Cage at the center of it all, it makes a whole lot of sense.

MTV News, it should be said, has been at the center of "Drive Angry" coverage, securing the very first interview about the project and continuing to track it from the first trailer to the brink of opening weekend. Read on for everything you need to know about the movie before it hits theaters Friday (February 25).

Going on the Road
Coming off the $100 million success of 2009's "My Bloody Valentine," director Patrick Lussier and his writing partner, Todd Farmer, asked themselves one question: "What movie do we want to see and what movie do we want to shoot in 3-D?" as Lussier later explained to us.

"We didn't really have anything in mind beyond that," he added. "We started writing an opening scene about a guy named Milton killing these three guys called the F---ers, who are totally scared sh--less and totally deserve it. From there, 'Drive Angry' was born. We wanted to come up with something that wasn't a horror movie but was just a hard-R, action-driven road movie, because that would be a great film to see in 3-D."

Ditching any notion of converting the film to three dimensions during post-production, Lussier hauled 3-D cameras down to Shreveport, Louisiana, and began shooting in the spring of 2010. To share the screen with Cage, Lussier hired Amber Heard to play a sassy waitress who gets pulled into Cage's scheme and William Fichtner as the agent of the devil's evil agenda.

3-D, From Scratch
When we caught up with Cage in the spring at Wonder-Con, he joked that the pollen in Louisiana made him sound like an "old blues singer" and raved about how the flick would meld an old-school cinematic vibe with cutting-edge technology.

"It's like if you got to see an old '70s action movie, but in 3-D," he explained. "We're doing something semi-historical, because it's the first 3-D movie shot [in the] style of a '70s action film. You could see Charles Bronson or [Clint] Eastwood [starring in a film like this] in those days."

Months later, with the shoot behind him and his voice back to normal, Cage marveled at how he escaped the production injury-free. "In this case, I did quite a few stunts with people literally on the hood of the car driving at very high speeds, so it reminded me of those old movies where you have people on top of the wing of a biplane," he said. "It was a little intense. That was definitely new to me and I was always very concerned about the stunt people I was working with."

Hell on Earth
The film's first trailer popped up online in October and featured everything we could have hoped for: big guns and fast cars, Cage walking slowly away from explosions without looking back, and fab lines like, "Hell already is walking the Earth." Months later, a Super Bowl ad delivered further peeks at the hard-R craziness. There's action aplenty, and that's exactly how Lussier planned it.

"We have this great car chase with Nic's character chasing after Amber Heard's character, who's in the middle of a fight inside this RV," he teased of one scene. "You're in this claustrophobic space, and suddenly you're outside with Nic in hot pursuit. There's all sorts of gunplay on the road. It's spectacular."

Topher Grace Recalls His Lucky Sprain On 'When I Was 17'

The star of 'Take Me Home Tonight' explains how he stumbled into acting as a teen.
By Alex Chapman

Topher Grace
Photo: MTV News

Before Topher Grace became a household name as the lovably discomfited Eric on "That '70s Show," he was just another teenager looking for something to do. On the upcoming episode of MTV's "When I Was 17," the star of "Take Me Home Tonight" (which hits theaters next week) recalls his big break, which surprisingly stemmed from a turn in his high-school play.

"When I was 17, I made the varsity tennis team, and I wound up spraining my ankle twice, so I couldn't do that that spring," Grace mentions in the upcoming episode. The former athlete tried out for the lead role in his high school's production of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," a part he didn't expect to land.

"I really didn't think I'd get it. There were some kids who were really great actors, and I still maintain that they were better actors then I am," Grace humbly notes.

Turns out, Topher's theatrical turn would change his life as he knew it. "So the crazy thing about that play is this girl who was a friend of mine — her parents were big-time Hollywood producers. They wrote for 'Saturday Night Live,' they wrote 'Wayne's World' and 'Tommy Boy,' and they came up to me after the play and said, 'We'll call you at some point,' " Grace recalls.

But the actor misinterpreted the thrilling news, thinking he was being pursued to go on coffee runs instead of auditions. "I thought they needed a P.A. on one of their shows, so I said something really stupid."

Topher's pal Gordon remembered the error, too: "He was like, 'Yeah sure, baby. I'll have my people call your people.' "

Fast-forward nine months later, and the big-time producers had an opportunity for the actor that he almost couldn't believe. "They called me and they said, 'We're making a sitcom about the '70s.' I still thought they wanted an assistant, but they said, 'Oh no, we want you to audition.' "

Turns out this little sitcom just happened to be the massive hit that launched Grace's career.
